Privacy

What you share with Unsent deserves discretion.

Unsent prepares a private note from your words. The MVP collects only what is needed to generate the preview, send the note if you request it, understand whether the service is useful, and protect endpoints against basic abuse.

Data collected

  • Your raw draft and context answers.
  • The prepared version, safety flags, and technical warnings.
  • Your email only if you request the full note.
  • Limited metadata such as campaign source, URL, time, and email delivery events.

What is not sent to analytics

Raw drafts, generated text, full emails, and intimate details should never be sent to PostHog. Analytics events use only limited fields such as approximate length, context choices, moderation state, and whether a step succeeded or failed.

Email and consent

Email is used to send the full note with a discreet subject line. Follow-up emails are sent only if you explicitly consent. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Retention and deletion

The MVP assumption is to keep raw drafts for 30 days to verify the service and handle requests. Manual deletion can be requested via DATA_DELETION_EMAIL, or via SUPPORT_EMAIL if only one address is configured at launch.

Non-medical scope

Unsent is not a medical, psychological, sexological, therapeutic, legal, or emergency service. If the situation involves danger, significant pain, intense distress, or an emergency, seek qualified human support instead of relying on a generated note.
